Gerrard hints at taking over the Saudi team and eyeing two ex-Liverpool players to play in the Middle East

Steven Gerrard, the former Liverpool captain and former Aston Villa boss, is set to bid farewell to Europe. Went to win a lot of money with Al-Ettifak, another of the most lavish clubs of the Saudi Arabian Pro League.

Reports from https://ufabet999.com indicate that Gerrard is in talks with Al-Ettifaq to finalize a possible start in Saudi Arabia. The former England captain seemed willing to take the opportunity.

Gerrard even negotiated a plan to buy new players from Europe. with the board of directors of al-Ettifaq as well

Gerrard’s targets include Bayern Munich winger Sadio Mane and Aston Villa attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

Both Mane and Coutinho are former Liverpool players, especially the latter. Also used to play with Gerrard already.

However, at the age of 43, Gerrard has already completed 3 jobs as a full-time manager, starting at Liverpool U-18 youth kit, Glasgow Rangers and Aston Villa. He was sacked at the beginning of the 2021/22 season before being unemployed for a long time since then.

Steven Gerrard has been tip to take over from Patrick Vieira at Crystal Palace and his playing style could suit the English Premier League side.

The Frenchman was sacked earlier today after presiding over a 12-game winless run which stretched back to December last year. Palace are currently in 12th position in the league but only three points above the relegation zone. Vieira’s last game in charge was the defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion on Wednesday evening on the south coast. Former Crystal Palace captain Paddy McCarthy will take charge of the their trip to Arsenal on Sunday following the sacking.
